Description
More from the gardens at the Chateau de Villandry. My wife hates topiaries - Edward Scissorhands is an arch-villain in her eyes. I kind of like them if they're done creatively & skillfully, though in small doses...

have to admit I'm not to impressed with what they've done here if I were to grade this, I would give it a D- for creativity

I'm undecided about topiaries. I can see how much skill and vision is required to create them, and I admire that ... in the abstract ... but it's the whole formal thing that makes me uneasy. I'm smiling, though, because I can hear Arlene's voice in the background, hating topiaries. :D

I love them, it's just another art form, and when it's well done, like these, they are a delight. Superb shot!

Beautiful - I have not seen this design before - a lovely study in perspective depth!
