This POV is much more menacing – a must zoom to check out all of those eyes! An exquisite macro and capture!

A fascinating species, I like the way they can change colour, and they are very patient hunters for food, this shot is wonderful, such detail and it seems you have had a good relationship with the crab spider through the summer with some amazing shots.

What a fabulous shot! As I opened this, the next song came on, something by a Scottish band with lyrics that begin with a reference to a spider. Lovely! :)

Aside from the fact that spiders are powerful just because of their presence, this is powerful for the cavernous petals that hold the spider up. They'r tinged in light, and doused in shadow, and they make a big claw-like enclosure for her. You got her right between two petals---I don't know how you do these macros, but you've been doing insect and spider macros for so long, you just know how to get them, and how to 'frame' them (the way the flower frames the spider). I love the tilt too. A beautiful powerful capture, and the spider is facing us head on, beautifully captured. A fine macro, Andrea.
