My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Aside from the fact that this has a really nice, plunging...grille-line, this also makes me think of the face of a Cylon centurion, minus the little red optical sensor light oscillating back and forth. I love the sheen and the color and the detail and the whole metallic excitement this has. It's quite a sensual photograph: you can feel the curves, the downward swoop,,.corrugations, the smoothness...and I love that nice metal-cream color combo. This is a gorgeous piece of swoopy work: or as someone on board the Serenity might say: "Shiny." (Hmmm...did I just sneak a "Firefly" reference into this comment? Well, it is shiny.)

That's a very nice yellow, close to Pontiac's Coronado Yellow of 1957. Great shot!

I really like this - what a sweet machine - and not just because I'm a Dodge man, either! LOL! A real beauty, and a wonderful photo, Tara!

OK. We would all hope to look that good "topless" ! This beauty was made when cars had class. Beautiful.

Yea, I'm drooling on the hood.

Yes, what Chip said; it's amazingly sensual for an automobile photograph. But you do that so well, with all sorts of "inanimate" objects. Your lens loves the lines and the light and use them to show us the soul of whatever it is you're shooting. You're good that way!

What a great shot, says so much, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A very creative crop really brings out the retro design lines of this grille beautifully. They may not have had the engineering efficiency or technological sophistication of today's cars, but they definitely had a lot of style...

You know just how to frame these. I would struggle with this type of imagery. Very well done!

Wonderful, Tara. What a fantastic shiny, glowing way, by going topless. This is 'over the top' with, less 'out of the blue'. Do have a Top weekend, Tara and Bill.
