Description
I already tried uploading this but something went wrong so I hope this doesn't get posted twice. The picture was rendered in the detail editor and comprised of 99 pencils (although not all are visible) and 5 metallic spheres - at least I didn't use a checked floor! I did tweak the contrast a little in a paint program.

Wow ! you must have spend hours to set all the colors and objects positions !

I made one pencil which I then duplicated twice and grouped. I then altered the lencth of 2 of the pencils. I then duplicate the group 2 times and changed the tone of the 2 new groups so I had light, mid and dark colours. These were all grouped together - 9 pencils. Part of the texture set is rjhue rotate so to create further variants I copied the 9group and hue rotated 30 to 45 degrees. Not and ideal approach but it suited my purpose - which was to complete the task in one evening (this is how I approached the egg cup theme as well.) Then just dragged the different pencils all around the place to get the desired amount of spacing. Thought it was lacking something so as an experiment I added a few spheres and a box/room and - voila!

RJJHueRotate...forgot about that...thanx for the reminder..lol,a really good .itx t use with dna.exe....am gonna try that for fun with something else..
