Started with computer way back in the 80' with my first Mac (Apple II). I'm a designer by profession and I run a little design and communication Studio in Lugano (Switzerland). I've developed a real passion for 3D and, while I use it quite a bit in my work, I also spend a lot of time experimenting on my own.
I'm italian but I live in Switzerland, I'm married and have two daughters.
I enjoy photography, painting and writing.
I'm a great fan of Cinema 4D and I was really happy when Maxon decided to use two of my illustrations for their website and an other image for their 2014 calendar.

This is excellent. I've always found doing outdoor scenes in C4D difficult, are you using HDRI ?
Eremes
Sorry I totally missed your kind comment. I hope you are still around. I seldom use HDRI in outdoor scenes, I prefer strategically placed area lights. or a distant light source depending on the scene. Thank you.

Wow. I almost didn't have a look at this full size. I am glad I did! The village across the lake puts a depth and perspective on the lake the eye doesn't otherwise see. The mist gives it a dreamlike feel, and I look for a birchbark canoe with a Mohican paddling quietly along. Beautiful!

I had to smile at this. Being a swiss lake (where I live) the birchbark canoe hadn't crossed my mind, but yes it could be anywhere. as I wrote in an other comment, as soon as I have time I will try a different time/light setting.
