Description

Driving through Montana we saw entire mountainsides covered in these gorgeous trees! I'm not an expert, but they do seem to be some sort of tamarack. Marilyn, you would have loved being with us on our drive that day! :) This really does deserve full view. The subtleties of color are amazing. Happy Birthday, Marilyn! size=6> color=1c240f>

I just love birthday trees! This is an incredibly rich image and I love the layers: trees do such a wonderful thing with layers, don't they? The colors are so vivid and rich and they're full of those sorts of subtleties that just keep the eye all nice and occupied without being busy. This is fantastic and it's a perfect birthday dedication too! Happy Birthday, Marilyn!
