While other girls in their teens typically would have had posters or photos of some celebrity/model on their walls; you guessed it, I had muscle cars. There were the typical Camaros and Chevelles, but my heart was taken by the little known to me at the time Buick Grand Sport. I had a small bulletin board handed down to my by one of my older sisters, and filled it with muscle car pictures I clipped from car magazines. I can only recall one or two of the other cars I had on my bulletin board, but the bright red Skylark GS is vividly imprinted in my memory. From there the rest is, well you know, is history. Perhaps the tales of my fathers street racing days with his Buick influenced me too, as my first car was also a Buick.
