Evidently, a group of tourists was passing through the sunlit downtown one fine day in August. L:uckily, I had my compact Canon with me.

Interesting post-work effects Nikolay, it gives this image a surreal feel ... another one, of your edgy pieces to add to your fine art collection - mesmerizing. BB BTW - when I was just a toddler, I had one of those little sailor outfits, like that small boy in the center ;)) it brings back nice memories !

THere's a laconic relaxes clinging feel to these people, lazily and happily kind of latching onto each other, and very relaxed even if they're in foreign territory. A very sweet street scene. And your postwork makes it like an etching of some sort; with line-tones in the region of the paintings of Bernard Buffet. It sets their forms off from the dark background. And the bleached white ground on which they walk (I assume your choice) sets them off especially. A wonderful street capture, and worked to an intensity by you. I love the high key white; and your line work here makes this a very intense print.
