Description

Technology for fun! The work of Gijs van Bon. This robot named BLOM, moves slowly backwards drawing outlines with sand! It has a long arm with a container at the end full of sand. It's controlled by a plugged in laptop. There are small buckets of coloured sand that are placed close by for everyone to pick up and colour in it's outlines. Then safely left abandoned to their fate of wind, weather or sweeping brush! This was to entertain the kids at Whisby Nature Reserve today.
