Description


This is a form of Caster Oil or Caster bean, known as "New Zealand Purple". The whole plant is a dark purple, leaves, stems and seeds (if you are lucky)! Though it looks different in the orange sunrise light these are in, with natural dew on them too! No seed pods this year but this plant has reached over 7ft high! I bent the stem right down and anchored it to a cane for the above shot. The below one a lot easier! I go to the Lakes in the morning so will be off computers for a week or so. I hope to have some landscapes shots to bring back though!

They did really well for me too this year from the seeds you sent. Such terrific showy plants! Mine were not as tall as that but did make seeds.
