I'm with Denise all the way on this. It's another of your alit, magical plant shots, with the leaves as solid as ever but allowing light to pour through...with deep wonderful shadows, and a contrast that's all music. Your crop brings out the 'burst' of the shot, and how concentrated it is. It also accentuates the real size of this plant: Odd, isn't is, how a tight-crop brings out size and mass, but it does here---it bursts from that center. And the background is placed just right---that dirty-peach-hued wall is a perfect backdrop, with the soil on one side and a car on the other. Another beautiful radiating-leaf shot from you, one of many in your gallery, and a welcome sight to one who's battling 40 degrees and huuuuuuge winds (you'd probably welcome our weather, after the year you've had out there). Beautiful work with this subject, as always: The leaves of S. Cal say "thank you". I'll be back for a long session very soon...
