Description
The Ruby-Crowned Kinglet is a tiny little songbird, only 3.5 to 4.3 inches long. They skitter and flit through bushes as they feed, much like a small wren does. The male keeps a ruby crown hidden in his head feathers, and they are visible only when he raises his feathers up. This is more than likely a female.
