Description

After dealing with 2nd hand tents and such. I decided to go ahead and spend the money on a new tent that is bigger. So I purchased this one. For those who have been camping in the past, setting up a tent was at least a two person job and took a long time to do so; plus the tents were a 'light-weight' canvas (NOT) that unfolded easily allowing the campers to get their home ready for all. Nowadays, a three person tent like this takes all of 15 minutes to set up and stake down. and can be transported easily (1.5 pounds) this one proved its worth out in the forest It may not be much, but it's home to me! Thank you

Wow Mike, I had no idea on earth that tents had advanced so much over the last few years. I'm amazed at how much lighter you said they are now and that one person can put a tent up in 15 minutes. I was just wondering what the dimensions were and if you could move around inside of it comfortably.

That's a pretty cool tent :) Not like the clunky super heavy canvas tent my family used to go camping in :) Boy, how the times have changed :)

Tents lost their allure for me. I'll stay at the local hotel.

I dunno Mike - it depends on the weather. Not so sure it's a castle to fortify ones self against large mammals though .... ?

nice looking tent Mike. I have a 3 man tent that you take out of the bag, toss it in the air and it lands made up. It only folds down into a 1 metre disc though so doesn't suit everyone.

it looks very good Mike. Looks like it could handle rain and wind, and I like the camouflage. I still have a tent (2 person) that I could set up by myself by moonshine and it was tall enough to allow a average-sized female to stand up.Looking at this brings back many happy memories!

I love the look of this new type of tent, and the best part, it takes no time at all to set up - way to go Mike ! Good idea about the double dome, to keep all sorts of 'nasties ' out, including bad weather ... Creature comfort ! good luck and well done, BB

It remains just to pull out four legs from there, and from time to time the head...and that could be a case to fall in love with a turtle...
