Description

The tiniest Hover Fly I have seen to date, about 1/3 inch long, on a single blade of grass. I laid on the ground and waited for one of several to come close. I'm sure the people driving by thought I was nuts. :) Taken a couple of weeks ago. Try zoom for detail. Thanks very much for your views and comments.

A fantastic capture Maria and so much clarity in zoom - very different antennae! I get all kinds of funny looks when I am trying to sneak up on something but then again, I live in a senior community with an average age in the high 80s!!!! :>)
