While playing with the spotlight light cones (godrays) in the last image, I got to wondering if they could be used to simulate a driving rain. The classic Brook Benton song popped into my head... and I had my new project.
I really enjoyed putting this one together, I hope you like viewing it too.

This is a superb image! The dark, stormy atmosphere is done to perfection! I really like her expression! The drops of water on the window add that extra-touch of photo-realism to the whole image! Excellent job!

You are the third person to ask in about a week, so yes I will make more of an effort to resurrect the Aranee story. You may remember this story is loosely based on brutal real life events that happened to somebody I care about, just told in a fantasy setting. For me this means the story takes an emotional toll when I work on it; It's a heart thing. Trying to find enough time for writing and art has been difficult recently, and clearly I want to do justice to the story to honor the brave woman at the heart of it. Neither my head nor my appointment book have been in the right place lately. With all that said, I AM determined to finish this story, for her - and now, for you guys too. Thanks for the occasional kick in the pants - we all need it once in awhile LOL!
