Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

I love this! I can feel and share your fun, and the faces are a delight!

This is really cool. The critters remind me of Hermonius Bach (?), the artist that painted all the hell creatures.

Bravo Mies! (And Tara and others.) They got it! And btw, there are 12 comments (minus me) and only 8 Full Views. We have to find those other 4, round them up, and put them in prison for a day. This piece REQUIRES full view. I wrote, in someone else's gallery, that when we all die, we're not going to see a god or angel or "st. Peter": No. We're going to see a Site Moderator, and he/she's gonna look over our lives (in a book), and say: "YOU DIDN"T ZOOM!" And they'll send us back, and we'll have to zoom everything we didn't zoom on earth----and only THEN will we pass. Ok, I got that outa my system, but I had to say it... In addition to the wonderful creatures here---and there are smiles here too (they're happy creeps!)---you have really intricate work with watercolor. Part is from the spills and tributaries you created with the watercolor. Part is the outlining and detailing you did with your fineliners (or brushes). This gets very analytic and intense in spots. I love the textures---like in the blue/purple face on the right. It's like islands in the sea, from an airplane. And the antennae or feelers under the red creature. And that nerve-synapse---blue, upper left corner---or the little swimming fish creatures. And some strange dogs. And so on. And the piece's edges look a little like aged gold-treated manuscripts. You have so much going on here! YOu combine big blobs with delicate line, and you let the watercolor move on its own, and then you draw around it. Like the buttons piece, it hits all my personal chords. This is how I made some of my microorganism and map pieces, only they weren't like this. This is splendid. I just love it. I'm so glad you posted it---even if 4 people didn't ZOOM! Another 2000 stars. Voila!
