This is my dear Husband, Per. A one hours drawing, I made this evening.
It is late and I will go to sleep.

Helle, this is marvelous! I love your lines, I love how you captured Per's expression, his wonderful forehead lines, and that intense gaze, and his kindness and presence. And the beard is terrific, and the collar, and the slight lines for the rest of the shirt...you did such a wonderful job in all of 1 hour! If I spent an hour on a portrait, it'd be a 3 line cartoon that was worthy of a 3 year old. (In fact, most 3 year old's would be insulted.) (They've told me.) This has such ease and panache. As others say here, you're such an inspiration: After all your wild fantasy pieces, and those montages, and button pieces, and pop art pieces, and the alphabets and on and on, you do a straight drawing in one hour, and get Per to a Tee. I love this. 250 stars. This is a real testament to your abilities as an artist! Love it.

Oh Helle, this is wonderful! You draw him so well, I feel I know him already. I can't say more than has been said already, but I can repeat it with feeling ... !!! You are a great artist. Your work shows depth and breadth, skill and talent, and I am constantly left in amazement (again and again) at how brilliant and creative you are. (We got to Texas last week, so I am visiting you via your art every day, and it's such a constant joy to me!) :)
