Description

More of my once hidden and/or neglected, but now exposed, Bryce and Poser work from 2002 through 2006, my fun and imaginative period. I got the idea for this masterpiece after creating the big orb. I couldn't let it go to waste after all that effort. I had originally titled the art, Dilemma at Sea. Auf wiedersehen.

I wasn't gonna comment anywhere today, but I saw this upload and had to come here: I love this, Harry! What a wild concept---a guy out to sea on a life-saver, and he's met by a bunch of huge freakin' eyes. They look like ceramic or plastic, or even glass. Big, bold, in your face and delightful. And more of your color-sense (in these mixed media pieces)---love the blues, and the many variations of them; and the stark contrast with that bold red: Love the contrast. These Mixed Media pieces are so bold and graphic...The sky is gentle and creamy too. A bit scary---yes (the above comment), but like a lot of these pieces, done with real panache, and tongue-in-cheek. I'm loving this series, and I love this piece!
