My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Love your A. The colors and soft pattern are quite beautiful.

I love the psychedelic ocean waves. And we all know what the scarlet A stands for. Hmm...getting pretty Freudian around here. Anyway, superb work. Inspiration is good.

I didn't see this till just now---even though you posted it yesterday---and I was heading out: But when I saw this, I had to comment now. It's sensual, flowing, mysterious and beautiful. The "A" fits in somehow, because of its hue---matching the dark crimsons of your background---and it's jagged, undulating form. As well as its changing hue and texture. And Andrea's right, we all approach it differently! You made a big swirly cavern-filled painting out it, in which "A" is present, maybe stopping by (on the way to having coffee with G), or maybe stopping because he saw you looking at him and wanted to have his picture taken---who knows. But capturing him---or her---to one side (the right), it doesn't steal the show but rather adds another accent to this very rich pastiche. I will check out the pics you spoke of---ie, where this came from---but tomorrow. But this is beautiful, Tara, and it makes me want to do even more alphabet stuff. (Ok, I wrote a tale about DEF, but I have to read it before I make a total ass of myself in front of the world. It's whacked out.) Lush and swirling, and I look forward to the others. (I know you posted one now, but I'll have to wait till I get home to see it.) Wonderful. Really lush.

Oh man, this rocks in so many ways I hardly know what to say. A for effort, A+++, A is for awesome, just so much to look at. I keep going back and every time, there's something different. WOW!!!! And i missed the alphabet part, but hmmmm, guess I'll have to look around and see what I can do!!

This looks like it's going to be a fun project - for you to create, and for the rest of us to follow! It's easy to see how much fun you had with this one, Tara! I'm looking forward to the next 25 or so... :-D

You did it so wonderful with all those faded colors, I have to look at this for long, thinking how you did this, Tara. But maybe I have to look at your anno 2007 images. I think one can become addicted to it, so cute! Bravo, my friend.

I'm catching up, and i have to say starting back at the beginning of the alphabet is quite inspiring: I love the way this whole thing makes me think of mother of pearl--different colors, but the swirlies and the nebulous shapes are outstanding. The crisp, children's-primer "A" has a nice calligraphic feel to it and the whole thing is put together wonderfully! AND it's layered. YAY! This is great. I love it.

Tara, this looks neat, and I like it, but I really have NO idea what is involved in making these. So if I repeat myself looking at your creations and making comments, don't be surprised. I am just surprised that you have gone away from posting photos. But I guess you wanted a new challenge, huh?
