My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Ok I love this B as well. Very well chosen colors, patterns and the blending of them. I have to give the B an A plus also

Very cool project. Didn't one of these or something like it just sell for 45 million?

Even the 'B' looks like a 'Bust' !! Nice one Tara.

Oh, you are the clever one. Simple red, yellow and green but take a closer look and there are all sorts of things going on here. Excellent. Well done.

Just for a very short second there, I thought it may have been for 'moi' - well, one can dream, right ? ;)) You know Tara, these colours remind me so much of fresh and crispy apples - maybe a Belle de Boskoop (from Holland) ? but - one bite into these and they go bust ... a nice and neat 'B' ... it almost has a Christmas feel to it ... WOO HOO! Here we go.. Love it ! I see severel layers and a smiling face and I see the B as a glass window into the lower layer. A superb idea for a letter image :-D More please :-)))

Lol, Andrea doesn't know how to do that 'see-through'---she does all that amazing postwork, and she doesn't know how to do this. Well one of us will have to tell her, and give her another fruit for her huge overflowing basket...I couldn't end my day without commenting on your second installment of this beautiful alphabet series. This one is almost like a cross section of a melon salad. It's rich and yet translucent, it glows, and it's deceptively simple---mainly 3 sections, cross-cutting over each other, with mysterious background---your blending, which is a style all your own. The red at bottom really grounds the piece. The B lets through an almost starry background. And the stuff in back of the green is just fascinating, it draws us back. Your two letter-pieces are so different, so far, but they both are so lush. It may be a lot of work, but I'd be thrilled if you actually could turn out all 26. (26, right? I just realized, I don't know!) It's a dream. Hey, Sanskrit has over 50 letters, so be happy you're not in ancient India. Such lush work, and yet this feels like an intimate keepsake. Lovely and loving, you're really taking to this! This is wonderful. (If you're interested, did a tale on "DEF," and it was so messy, I haven't posted it yet. DE and F nearly sue me for filtering them in Photoshop---there's a whole section on the injuries resulting from filtering, incl a discussion of the Geneva Conventions---and I wind up doing a group portrait, sans postwork, where the rest of the alphabet joins in---mostly. ((O doesn't wanna be seen, because she feels "fat". We tell her she's "O", and O is supposed to be round, but she won't hear it.)) It's really badly written, but I'm still working on it! Spoiler: The "tilde"---the diacritical mark---plays a major role. Maybe I'll just do another image. Hard to top you, helle and andrea though. It's so exciting to see these.)

to quote the one character in F-Troop - 'It is Balloon!' To B or not to B... Here B balloons?
