Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

Such beautiful eels! I remember when on our honeymoon on Maui, we took a group trip on a catamaran to Molikini, but the weather was too rough. I ended up getting sea sick on the trip, but I was determined to enjoy the snorkeling. The captain of the ship snorkeled near some of us and we actually were able to see a morey eel...along with schools of tangs and other tropical fish. It was amazing!!! This is a great shot you got!!!!

I very much like your pis especially in zoom and your info is very interesting Dana. I was told not to go for Windows 8 when I had my upgrade and used Windows 7 which seems to be ok.

sounds like a browser problem more than your video card, for sure if you can see other pictures on the internet the only experience I have had with eels is from a child and hearing my mother talk about ones neighbors caught while fishing. really a great capture

Normally a delicacy - Smoked Eel ... but I think I pass on this one, he looks better in these surrounds, than on my plate ! never-the-less, a fine catch Dana - if you get my drift ? LOL BB
