Description

Hi kids... I hope everyone is doing OK... Here's V3 RR in a V4 shape. Why ask why? It's impossible to make V3 an exact match for V4, but this is as close as I could get. If you just can't get enough V4, or are just looking for enlightenment on their differences, here is V3's formula used in this image: Body scale 96.6% Head/eyes scale 109% Tone 0.5 NeckThin -0.1 BrstDiameter 0.1 ("Brst!?") BreastLift 0.5 BrstTopSlope 0.75 WaistNarrow 0.1 HipNarrow 0.25 GluteBig 0.4 ThighFull 0.15 CalfFull -0.25 CalfBulge 0.25 StretchLegs 0.45 CheekBones 20% EarBig 11% EarsUp -35.3% EyeDepth 85% EyeWidth -70% EyesBig 28% FaceHeart 50% LipLoLarge 25% LipLoFull 30% LipLowOut -50% LipUpFull 75% LipUpRound 30% LipUpSides -25% MouthRaise -100% NoseBrdgThin 20% NoseHeight 100% NoseSlope 75% NoseWide 40% NostrilHeight -80% NNNNyeah, she still looks like V3 to me. What can you do. I left this unretouched so you could hunt for limitations. (Hint: shoulders, armpits.) I did come across a potential flaw in V3RR, however. I was going to give her a toothy smile but I noticed the teeth texture was not lining up properly - she had red teeth!! I will have to test this further before I make a conclusive statement. I should really work on my Renderosity holiday contest entry now. Are you working on yours?

if only someone would zbrush better arms, joints, and body morphs for V3. I would never change. Sigh. V3 may be "RR", but her expressions come out so well IMHO.

Well... V3 came out some twelve years ago now. The appearance of the joints were a big leap from what came before, and they did the best they could with what was available at the time. That's why I prefer newer figures - they bend a lot better. Of course, there is the V3 shape for Genesis...

"Now who's V3 and who's V4? Oh, it probably doesn't matter - they taste the same anyway. Now, who do I gobble up first?" - T.Rex. Very good job MrGorf! I'm having a hard time seeing who is who in this image. May I assume the smiling figure is V3 (a new lease on life?) and the worried one is V4 (competition?)??? Thanks for posting the settings. I'll try these on my V3 as soon as possible! Gee, this smells of fun! Keep up the good work! :-)

Great image! I can see that V4 is suitably worried about incoming competition especially with and older model! Very cool
