My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I see you. This program brought to you by the letter E.

Superb !!!

I love the layering, especially the ghostly eyes. And it can be reused when you get to the letter H. Brought back a memory of a 1955 film co-produced by Roger Corman titled "The Beast With 1,000,000 Eyes".

The eyes certainly have it.

Another example of your excellent eye for art. Love the horse and the way you played up his eye. Horses always seem to have such old souls.

Hey, a major moment: We met-up on E!!! (I know, borrr-rrring, but this could the only time you and I had the same letter up, at the same time.) Another subtle multiple-blend from you, easefully adding "E" into the progression...I like that, in addition to that big horse's eye, you have several eye-pairs lined up near the center of the image. (And I think you have another column of pairs to the left of that. I think. It's very faint.) You've mastered 'suggestive' layering: Making a layer visible, but quiet---ie, "suggested" as much as present. And you've got more of those notch-leaves, which give a natural background to the eyes; they also look like light-bursts. And you've transformed the background, as it becomes the border: Ie, same background I assume, only heightened and intensified. A reddish dark-chestnut piece, with a dark chamber-feeling, like we're viewing a nocturnal dream from the horse...And our star, the E??? All golden and ambers, with watercolor reds. More intimate beauty, Tara. These are an intimate treat. (And remember, if you start to dawdle around K, you can do a poem for one, blend a bunch of text, turn them upside down, whatever strikes your fancy...Helle created these wonderful patchwork quilts, and suddenly we're doing letter-art! Who knew this would happen???)

OH It is beauuutiful, this eye. And in zoom we see many interesting eyes and I see some kind of spiral, which reminds me og those spirals we use with fat balls for bird feeding :-) What a wonderful mage.

I spy with my many eyes a horse of course, who's name is Mister Ed (another E for you) if we get enough E's in the mix, say 4, then we have a song: "Four E's a jolly good fellow Four E's a Jolly good fellow" sorry, it was two E-sy to get sidetracked!

Nice.
