Description
Captured 11/18/13, very early in the am, in the area of my favorite stomping grounds.
The sun was low and directly over the tracks, which makes for dramatic high key pics, but, just for a change, instead of my usual right up the center of the tracks capture, I thought I would employ another POV with this shot. BTW, those are clumps of fountain grass over to the left. And, as usual, when I take an into-the-sun photo with a point-and-shoot camera, I just aim it in the general direction and hope for the best.
Advio.

yes, there's a certain amount of praying and hoping when shooting into the sun like this. But I'm sure your eye was working away, even while it was squinting. And your postwork, of course, was by design. I love flare when handled well, and I love it here. It dissolves those tracks into a big ocean of light And the tracks emerge out of it, as they open up towards us. I like the angled pov' and those fountain grass "explosions" are like little people with fright wigs. (Lol---probably not what you were hoping people to see, but I can't help it). They add bursting accents to the whole. You move from detail on the bottom to dissolution on top. Fine addition to this series, all of which I've loved. Amazing how many worlds you find just on a daily walk. Such diversity, so many worlds...
