Description

Well things around here started to be routine about 5-6 weeks ago, I began making the rounds to some of the folks that have been good enough during these busy times to visit this gallery. Then some 4 weeks ago on October 24, that balance was upset by the Marysville Pilchuck High shootings. This was to be the school my daughter would have attended. Both Crystal and I had a strong reservation about sending the kids there and made every effort to be here in Lake Stevens so they would be attending better schools. The incident none the less has disrupted my daughters emotional well being as well as her studies. Being needed elsewhere, I've not been able to make the rounds and comment, nor have I been posting, my apologies. I would also like to note that my heart goes out to all that have suffered from this tragedy. Now that my absence has been detailed.... I'd like to get at least one of the pumpkins posted this year. I know it's a few weeks late, but as it is said, "Better late then never". Drake(my son) is still obsessed with Minecraft. His pumpkin was a Creeper face(in game mob monster). My daughter integrated stars, mermaids, and other designs into hers. Crystal(my lady) did a half painted, half carved pumpkin of a witch motif scene. Complete with a witches hat, broom and cauldron. The Vampire here was my carving, it took a good 90 minutes do draw and carve. Hope to post again soon, as for making the rounds. I can only say I'll do my best, and as always ......to the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!!

Fabulous work on the carving! In regards to your absence while tending to your daughter and her well-being. there is nothing to apologize for - family comes first.

A plant based vampire. I can hear him now; "I vant to bite your tomatoes!" Outstanding work. I agree with the others, family comes first. No one deserves to go through such trauma. Give your daughter lots of hugs and support.

This is wonderfully done! I always loved carving pumpkins, but can't do it anymore. Sorry about the situation with school and family, I hope it all settles down for you very soon.
