Description

Smithfield Market is located within the square mile of London where wholesale meat is traded. This grade II building was completed in 1868 and was designed by Sir Horace Jones, however, trade has taken place here for almost one thousand years. I can't say the meat-trade exactly inspires me but I certainly find this building and history interesting. If you want to see this place in full flow opening times are from Mon-Fri from 3am-Midday - bring your car if you intention is load up on those steaks and lamb shanks :D Many thanks for viewing!!!

The building is absolutely gorgeous; I can imagine it probably smells a bit odd if it's been selling meats for so long, but it would be worth it to see the inside. Beautiful pano capture!
