Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Helle, this is simply stunning work on another series of wonderful portraits. You have a way of showing a real spark of life in the eyes of your figures.

Two generations, two different expressions and so well drawn! I don't know whom they are nor where they are or what they are doing...but the pose of the elder man, so attentive and thoughtful make me think that he is listening to something important from someone at his side...You draw them wonderfully, Helle, as all the others of this series of portraits! You bring them to life and to our life, with so much reality and economy of lines. And once more, you offer us true ART ! Thank you:)

These are amazing! I won't be following you in this pursuit, however. I'm no good at drawing!

Your details are so strong with such a fast medium, so you get real personality in just a snapshot. The man looking to his right (our left) is so clearly lost in something, some thought, some distraction. And your heavy shading communicates even a little dissatisfaction or confusion. (A very real moment that may pass the second this moment is over...) And the other man looks at us, and still has real shade in his face---on his right side suggesting some thought or immersion in something. I also like his t-shirt, it's drawn in with a few lines, yet suggests a whole shirt and its ripples. This is really strong, Helle--I keep using that word, but I mean it: These are strong drawings. And so suggestive...
