Remarquable travail de composition qui a dû prendre beaucoup de temps. Je n'ai aucune notion dans ce domaine et je préfère donc porter mes commentaires sur vos très belles photos.

Amazing contrasts indeed and a very complex and beautiful composition and concept, Mark! I love the typewriter's lettering, the sobriety of the 'J' and the graphic way how you played with it. The same image of the 'J' in the three panels emphasizes the further contrasts. I love your graphisme in this image very much and the decreasing of the complexity along it. You know what you are doing:) The 3rd image is to me, no doubt the more graphic. I really love it !!

Mark, this (J) entry in the series is one of the most fun presentations in the series so far. I loved the detailing here as well as the dynamic contrast in the variations. You were so right that they must be seen in full size view to be appreciated.

I love the different incarnations of the J in your delightful presentation, Mark; so many styles, so much to see! Well done!!!

i love the pure hollywood deco look of the first panel. the addition of the second, more "swoopy" font, adds a lovely counterpoint. as ana says, the simplicity and more graphic look of the third panel is so clean, so stark. it's elegant. sorry about the choppy comment ... just know i like it, ok? lol! my computer is finally in the shop, and i'm limping along here on my phone. i'll be more articulate in a few days when things hopefully get back to normal. :p

You're already up to the letter J? What a collective creation of compound Js in this colorful layer upon layer display, Mark, sparkling with fonts in all sizes such as American typewriter, deco, and copperplate, either in solid or transparent form, with some in long lines of repetition, and contrasted against a varied background of noise texture, zigzag lines and rectangles. No minimalism here.

Very Odeon cinema, and so evocative of my childhood. Most enjoyable, Mark.

Mark, again you have made an amazing creation and here the grain looks awesome. I love all three, but the middle one is most appealing to me. It is just gorgeous. The colors are so beautiful. We really see the fine graphic artist in you here. :-)
