Looks a wee bit rusty, but that makes for an appealing texture study. And I admire the human imagination & engineering skill that went into it's creation...

A little worn but easily convertible to a quartz clock to get ticking again: just clean up the gears, find some hands for it, and suspend a couple hundredweight of quartz rocks for a power source. No batteries required! :)
