Description
After I was here for 3 days, the sand hill cranes had lost some of their fascination with me. The first two days, they stayed within 2 or 3 feet of me making it almost impossible to get a good shot. I went out at dawn on this morning. I am still in awe of these beautiful and exotic birds.

Beautiful photo! Interesting how interested they are in you and that "big eye" (camera). With such a long beak, I wonder what they eat? And it's dawn a where you're at, and 9:00 PM and dark since a few hours ago where I'm at. Kitty spent the evening sleeping by my computer while I did e-mail. I've given her food and now she's asleep in the living room. I'm dog tired and will retire as soon as I've caught up on Renderosity new postings. Have a good day! :-)
