Description

[ Please ZOOM to see details! ] Continuing on with the makeover for the Araneé cast, this is Grigham. Grigham is a rarity - a deserter from the Greeners. (If you don't know the story, the Greeners are the lawless hordes who torment the DIsputed Lands.) Grigham is tough, smart and courageous. He needs to be for his wife and children: Greeners typically execute every know relative in front of a captured deserter before then killing him in an excruciatingly slow manner. He was originally a minor Greener officer but now enjoys the absolute trust of Araneé, so much so that he is now the first general of her Aeriteuin Guard. How can she befriend someone who was once a hated enemy? Sorry, you have to read the story for the answer! If you are new to the Araneé story or want to refresh your memory, the first episode is HERE. Each episode has links to the next chapter. Please ignore the primitive graphics in these early episodes and stick with it for the first 10 chapters - I think you might be hooked! BTW, a couple of you have asked about a couple of story oddities: - Why the similarity of names between "Aeritan Forest" and "Kingdom of Aeriteuin"? - Why the colors of the Aeriteuin Guard are GREEN - same as the Greeners? These details are not accidents, the reasons will be made clear in future episodes! Grigham is an M3 character with Jarome tex from ShareCG and my own body / face morphs. Most of his gear and armaments are freebies. Here he is wearing Xurge's excellent M3 Warrior armor, retextured by moi. (Araneé specified Aeriteuin Guard armor and uniforms to be forest green with gold/brass piping and with the mountain gildrose prominently displayed.) His ride is Daz Mil Horse with one of Lyne's fabulous freebie tex; Saddle and gear are props from the Daz shop. I wanted to get this out sooner, but I've been struggling with a virus for several days now...

The background is the old Daz Multiplane Cyclorama. Yeah, it's a bit dated, but it still works well in some situations. The original Cyclorama and add-on planes are kinda difficult to find in the Daz shop, but they're still in there.

Larry, you did a great job in presenting the re-make of this character in such a dramatic fashion. Hope you get feeling better soon, my friend.

Great character - where you said that he has your own body, you must work out more than it looks! The background works well here too.

Um, OK, thanks for the complement I guess. For the record, I've NEVER looked that good LOL! Of course, what I meant to say was that I dialed up morphs for the look of his body and face. Kinda sad for a supposed writer to not have better command of the language LOL!
