[ Please ZOOM to see details! ] Continuing on with the Araneé cast makeover, this is Katesh aka Lillibeck. That's right, two names. She is known to nearby peasant communities as Katesh, the expert herbalist and healer - but she also hides some very strange abilities.. She has other deep secrets, too, including most of her past: Her real name is Lillibeck. Her destiny first became intertwined with Araneé since Araneé was but a small half-elf child. And now Lillibeck's destiny is intentionally even more tied up with Araneé's - at odd times and in surprising ways. What does she share with Araneé? What secrets does she hold, and what is she doing at the fringes of Araneé's life? Sorry, you've got to read the story to find out! If you are new to the Araneé story or want to refresh your memory, the first episode is HERE. Each episode has links to the next chapter. Please ignore the primitive graphics in the early episodes and stick with it for the first 10 chapters or so - I think you might be hooked! This was one of my earliest story characters and I was quite upset to learn her character file had become corrupted; I had to rebuild her from scratch, but comparing her with past images and I think she looks nearly the same. I discovered something interesting: When you implement the "old" and "crease" morphs on a V4 face, it becomes difficult to make her smile! I had to work at it to get her to properly welcome you into her home LOL! Katesh / Lillibeck is a V4 character with morphs spun by me and a heavily modified skin tex. She is wearing Daz V4 Morphing Fantasy Dress with an oldie but goodie freebie tex, Chohole's awesome Homespun Peasant for MFD. The hair is also a great oldie: Kozaburo's freebie "Messy Hair" - a few tweaks of the shader and it was good to go. I can't seem to find a medieval building prop that holds up well in a closeup, so I created this room myself. Props are from the Daz Medieval Tavern and Mapp's outstanding Hotel set, available here on Rendo. As usual, if any of you Carraraistas want to know how I did the lighting or texturing on anything in this image (or any other I've done) please ask. I had a tough time with this one, had a few Carrara bug issues. And this has been another couple of rough days with the virus, can't get this stuff out of my chest...
