My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

and an awesome state it is for scenery
Wolfenshire
So cool, I would have gotten bored and just slapped stuff together, but everyone of your scenes are just fantastic. I should wonder how they would look if you went free style instead of locked into letters.

I was so hoping you would pick Utah for the "U". This state to me is one our most beautiful. You have done a beautiful job of blending these. 😊

This would make a great promotional poster; beautifully done, as all of yours have been!!

You will have to make a second set! If only because I will have more time to catch up. I do like the contrast between the letter and the image very much.

Amazing work Tara. God bless.

yes, Andrea. She and I need to catch up. (Well she REALLY needs to catch up, lol. Though if I did drawings like hers, I'd be perfectly happy going slow.) But wait---I just looked: You've bypassed HELLE! She's only on P!!!!! SLOW DOWN, GIRL!!!!! YOU'RE MAKING US ALL LOOK LIKE TURTLES!!!! I agree with Andrea that you need to do a second set: I'm really upset this is nearing "Z". (Do a small u. Than an italic. Don't end this, please! Shove in some Sanskrit!) Ok, the image is beautiful, and while I can't figure out what you blended on top of the big rock formations, your ghost-image makes a beautiful "water color wash" across the surface of the rocks, and it harmonizes with the strata of the rocks themselves. You worked with the native lines of your photos. And the photos look like they were beautiful in their own right. And it all resolves to a big beautiful lighter section 2/3 of the way down, and a U in total contrast---in blacks and silvery whites. (And an 'outline' U---the usual name for those extra lines around letters in typefaces.) Again, a bright yellow-beige inner border, followed by a deep brown-red outer. With your brushes in the corners...A beautiful montage, and you've got just 5 more to go, and I'm getting clinically depressed. Beautiful work, Tara. These are all jewels.

And somewhere where one seldom needs an umbrella :)

You did a fantastic composition with mountains on mountains and on top some rocks with shapes like big castles. An awesome U Image. I am smiling at what Mark wrote :-D
