My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Another fantastic composition !! Congratulations !!!

This works so well! It gives me a combination of feelings, from slightly threatening in the centre to sunlit seaside at either end.

Does that mean only God can make a T? This is very slick. I can see seven Ts in this. Great work.

Very dramatic on this T group Tara. I do believe though that I see a turtle hidden near the bottom just to the left of the light area, maybe in a rock??? Or maybe this is like clouds. We see what we imagine. Love this one.

Wow ... you're good! There is, indeed, a turtle sitting on that rock. :)

Well, they're all together on the planet, so that's good enough for me! Wonderful compression of earth's bounty!

What a lovely symphony of threes and i see some of them from a wetland. But like the lovely pine to the right the most and the tiny turtle of course. :)

I was hoping for Triceratops or something, but trees is almost as cool as three-horned ninety ton killing machines.

lol, krittermom saw a turtle! Nice seeing! I wanna say I see a small palmetto bug on the 3d tree from the left, just so you'll spend the next 2 days looking. (And there's no palmetto bug. And btw---this is off the topic, but I paid the gallery fee, so I get to go off the topic---a palmetto bug is basically a cockroach with a southern accent. They're huge, they're fast, they speak 6 languages, and they're pigs. They eat everything---everything, chinese, mexican, indian, thai---and never knock, and their name means "small palm" and they look nothing like palms. Either the tree or the hand. And this has nothing to do with your image so I'm going back...) This is compressed almost into an indoor horticultural center, very cloistered; and it feels almost moist and dank inside. You made a kind of swamp or wetlands montage, very pleasing. In zoom, the details are scintillating. The water provides a horizontal sweep, like brush strokes. The tree reflections---maybe even some upside down shots?---make for at least two worlds here. The big thick trunks make it formidable. And you've even put foliage in FRONT of your T: Is that a first for this series? I don't remember you weaving your letters 'behind' things in any way. In any case, it's very effective as the T seems to grow out of the image itself. And while I don't know trees well enough to know that these trees wouldn't be found together in real life, I'll accept the 'group portrait' with open arms. A big muscular articulate tree-some (Jeff's not the only one who can do puns), and nicely framed in deep forest green...with foliage as your corners. Deep-feeling, intense and peaceful. (Peaceful is the lasting feeling after sitting with it, for me.) And you use thinner trunks as good contrast to the big thick ones. All very well done.

Well, maybe you could get 'em all to grow in the same spot with Vue.. LOL A wonderful combination of trees from the different environments, and another great composite, Tara! Yep - I see the turtle! :-D
