Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

I was lucky not to spray my coffee all over everything when I read your narrative. interesting description of the scent - one would be tempted to ask the question, "But tell me, How do you really feel about this scent?" Wonderful photo

It smells like cat pee then! LOL :) Super shot Andrea :)

Great capture but I love the negative descriptions. If it really smells that bad I can't imagine it is a good seller.

I do not know the scent and therefore I do not know what to say about it... but the photo is beautiful! :)

Its a wonder anyone buys it, like the packaging!!!

A lovely image but they do look like brass nipples. If the critics are right I guess that's what you need in order to where this.

I could not possibly comment!! I will leave this one to the ladies.

Oh dear. If it smells as annoying as all that pink is, I'll pass! I love your setup with the reflections and postwork, but I probably would have had to change the color. My goodness!

Amazing capture Andrea. God bless.

WOW! My granddaughter would have loved these. She is a pink girl. Has always been. :)

Pretty packaging, I'll reserve judgment on the scent until I smell it myself...I do like some citrusy scents.

Crikey... hardly a very positive review from them... but is there any truth in that opinion?. Nice capture.

Thank goodness I don't have to try this even the colour puts me off.

I'm no expert in perfume - and allergic too, but a very fine image! :o)

The scents may be a problem for some, but your treatment of the display is terrific. The table in front is turned into a big foil-covered reflective surface, or a rain-soaked street with buildings reflecting in it. The background is even more a metallic reflective surface. It's surrounded in extended tinsel. And the box itself is almost an optical illusion---I can't figure out exactly how the angles work, but that makes it all the more fascinating. You captured the pink garishness with your postwork, and it's a real assault on the eyes, though the toned down hues---peach and slate pinks, muddy crimsons, slate greens and other in-between greens above---take away from the garishness. You really have a sense with these bottles, Andrea. You know just what to do with each capture. Terrific job with these oddities. I'm at almost 1 hour and 45 minutes, and I'm going to have to move on. I'll be back soon, but it's always great to spend real time here, and sink into so many of your many styles. I love every minute of it. (I didn't do any of your dog pics this time, btw: I'll have to begin with them, next time as I love that series.)

Beautiful eye catching packaging but not the best review from the experts
