Description

[ Please ZOOM to see details! ] Continuing with the Araneé cast makeover, this is Lord Jobil. He is a key player in the story and I haven't really done justice to him so far, so I will post two images of him. Lord Jobil is the titular ruler of the Jobil Lands, known as the "Western Lands" to Araneé and other residents of the Disputed Lands. He inherited these lands when his two older brothers died in suspicious circumstances. Originally a sea captain, he runs his kingdom as tautly as any ship he commanded. He has a fond regard for Araneé, almost like a daughter, and sees that she has somehow been caught up in the same mystery that felled the Aeriteuin Kingdom - and killed his brothers. He is committed to getting to the bottom of the mystery. What circumstances brought him to power? Why his fatherly affection for the Elf woman? And what are the great lengths he's gone through to try to get to the bottom of the mystery? Sorry - you've got to read the story to find out! If you are new to the Araneé story or want to refresh your memory, the first episode is HERE. Each episode has links to the next chapter. The early episodes have somewhat primitive graphics, but stick with it for the first 10 chapters or so and I think you just might be hooked! Lord Jobil was my first M4 character, morphs dialed by me and skin tex the awesome Jarome by Bergie on ShareCG. When I first started I had zero M4 gear in my runtime so I had to paint quite a bit of detail. Now things are better, but I'm still searching for clothing for him: Like most large men, there isn't a lot of clothing out there to fit him LOL! For this reason, I decided to do two renders: This one is somewhat a reprise of the scene in chapter 67, allowing me to get his office in order. He is currently wearing his only outfit, components of the Daz M4 1812 set. My intent for the next render: Get him some new clothes and render him outdoors. After all, as those of you who followed him in the original chapters know, Jobil is NOT an office dweller - he is a man of action. Jobil's rich-looking paneled office is from Mapps excellent "Walls Abound" set. Most of his furniture is from Anton's awesome "Antique Furniture Collection - unfortunately I don't see it over at Daz anymore which is a shame. My chest is starting to clear up a bit, feeling much better today...
