Hi, everyone (especially my friends in the Blender forum community)! I'd like to start off by saying that I'm very proud of this render, as it was a labor of love, and really pushed my creative skills in the realm of material creation and lighting. I didn't do much modeling for this render though. While I did model the 3 hanging ornaments, the main focus of this piece, the jingle bells, ribbon, and evergreens, were modeled by another extremely talented artist, Luxxeon. You can download his wonderful model seen here for your own works in the free stuff area of this website! It's entitled, "Xmas Bells (OBJ Version)". I'll try to link to it from here, but don't know if it will work or not. Click Here. I used Blender3D and Cycles render engine to render this piece, and all the materials. I created all the materials myself, using my own node recipes. I'm particularly happy with the velvet material I used on the bow, as it took several hours, and much research to get the look I was after there.
