Description

Every dark cloud has a silver lining. Captured on 1/24/08, in the parking lot of a local strip mall. This was back in the halcyon days when we were receiving our normal amount of rainfall for the season. Have a nice day.

Beautiful photo! The sky must have looked wonderful on its own, but this magnifies it nicely.

Harry, I have to admit this is about the coolest capture I've seen in some time.

when I first saw this, I thought it was a reflection in the hood of a car. It's metallic almost. An amazing capture of clouds on water; the water seems to have a hard surface in this shot, and it also seems curved. Amazing how reflections morphed a simple puddle. Fine work on the water, and in getting (I assume) the pebbles and textures of the road, showing through the water. Whatever that is, it makes for very active water, and it's beautiful. You also got some sun flare---subtle, but it's there, in the lower center cloud. As it sits against the grass and road, it almost looks 'placed' there. An eye popper, almost an optical illusion. Really fine work, Harry.
