Description

As Vera returned, Jack did go too and by the time he came back, the barman served the coffee. "The cappuccino is for my girlfriend sir, I'll have the coffee. Thank you." Jack noticed that the lights were dimmed and he realized that is was getting late. He still had a lot to talk to Vera and did not want to say goodbye already. She didn't seem to be in a hurry either. He wondered how to go on with this date and how to break it up. He liked Vera in spite of her blindness. She told him that she had dated before. Her first appointment didn't show up. He probable ran before they met each other. The second time she decided to go more lately, so that she could check first if he was there. That trick didn't work either, the man excused himself and left her alone immediately. So did number three. Vera almost gave up the dating, but now she read about the blind date, she wanted to give it a change again. Jack could laugh about it and saw those situations before his eyes. "I'm sorry Vera, but I can imagine their enormous disappointment. They were totally wrong; you are really a great companion."
