Description
My brother, Ocoee53, raised these little doves this year. I know they look a bit scraggly here, but pretty much all song birds look like this at this age. He has done a fantastic job.
Look to his post this evening to see how they turned out.

Thanks for posting this Bev. I had forgotten how sad they looked at first. I did their portrait today for my Christmas post. I expected some difficulty, but these little guys are just so pleasant and dignified that it was very easy!

Aw, so cute! And they look quite satisfied. My brother gave me "The Emotional Lives Of Animals" by Marc Bekoff (ISBN 978 - 1 - 57731 - 502 - 5). I think this is a book you will enjoy (if you haven't already read it). I spent an hour delving into it before going to sleep last night. Seeing these 2 fellows reminded me of the book. Keep up the good work! This is a really nice photo! :-)
