(wow, another image where I beat out Denise! This is an omen of something. Too bad, because I always love reading her comments on your work...I'll have to read the reviews now...) This flower-capture is crossing over into graphic work, Harry, it has a strong graphic feel to me, and I really like it. Something about your light. It's almost like a print. Your way with the pinks and whites, here, remind me of Warhol, almost---only warhol would've messed with the beauty, whereas you brought it out. And your background is doused in saturated greens and yellows, and the bokeh shines. A very bold, light-saturated rose, and beautiful postwork. Pinks and greens are near-opposites on the color-wheel, so they make very strong contrasts. Beautiful capture and postwork. Beaming for this darker time of year...

What an electric rose you found down there in Lalaland, Harry; ours up here don't seem to have the same colour zing that yours have. Maybe they don't see enough sun to absorb the light rays? Fantastic how you reigned it in and talked it into sharing the glory with your lens. A beauty that's been hiding in your files for over six years; excellent work!!
