Just starting out with Bryce and Poser
My kids and I are having a blast with Bryce and poser. Many images that I will post are started by them and finished by me with additional software. I like so many of the images here, I don't know if we will come up with anything "truely" new, but we will give it a shot.
[UPDATE]
Well, after moving several times and many life altering events - we are finally back. ..and rendering once more.
Recently we have purchased Carrara and Hexagon to add to our arsonal of applications and are REALLY enjoying mesh modeling and animation now.  Our next app will hopefully be Maya - educational license (since we are home schooling four kids AND are members of the terrific Arizona Virtual Academy as well). In the meantime Trollmac and I will be working on learning how to produce and package models for Poser/Daz etc. Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome. ..hints and tips - even more so :)
The current project of focus (graphics-wise) is a game built with Torque (an awesome 3D game engine with affordable pricing for parents looking for something to replace the pine-box derby of our youth with our tech-savy kids of today). ...and of course rendering for the pure fun and discovory of it.

What a sweet landscape. The composition and light are wonderfully done to get the bird as the center of attention. Good job!

chuckle thank you - did you see the spider hidden in the grass as well?
Sacred Rose
It's a lovely composition. My only suggestion would be to tone down the lens flare. In a day scene (with such a clear sky), and no visible sun, I am not so sure we would be seeing it). Keep doing these images, you have a natural flair :)

Now that is very nice, what program did you render that in..?
