Very good postwork. Take out the lightning and I love it :-) A nice shadow in the water would be nice too.

Very good work where the funnel touches down! The lightning does look a little like an upside down white tree, but the idea is good. Perhaps you could use a picture of a real lightning strike as a guide or blend it in with a paint program. (I would use a layer in Paint Shop Pro) The shadow would be easy to do: copy & paste the funnel upside down in a layer, and use it as a guide to darken the appropriate areas. Don't give up - you've given me an idea I might use in a later render.
