Description
Not sure about the origin of the name but this is the type of walk way built by Neolithic man to traverse the Avalon Marshes on the Somerset Levels.
For those who like to research on the web I am sure a lot of info can be found.

Well Jeff, I did look it up (couldn't help myself). Fascinating construct. Our ancestors were much smarter than we give them credit for. The track was built in either 3807 or 3806 BC and is named for the man who found it, Ray Sweet. I don't know if what you captured is one of the reconstructions or part of the original but it is a great shot.

How very interesting to see this amusing and wonderful looking shot, Jeff. It looks like the tree has forbidden to the the reeds, to be able to grow in that place from him.
