Shiny shapes, layer upon layer; how do they come up with these myriad of headlight shapes? There are geometries no one has ever heard of involved in these designs, I think. Beautiful capture of this space-aged dream, Harry!

I agree with Denise, there are geometric designs in these lights that no one has heard of...a 'space-aged dream'...I remember you doing a number of these a ways back, and I remember how they made the simple fact of a headlight suddenly appear other-worldly. You centered this---the pointed edges of the headlight (left and right) are nearly the same distance from the edges, but the swoops and sweeps destroy any sense of symmetry as we're kind of taken into a convoluted landscape of dilated forms. I love the grain on the car itself: I assume you enhanced that in some way; it makes it a graphic print. And the headlight has so many distortions and reflections, it's almost an abstract painting. The upper left corner of the headlight is all light, like there's a light-source inside shedding its glow over everything. When one sees your whole-car studies---which have been beautiful---one doesn't expect that you'll do these too; but these closeups are from another planet, and tell us that a simple car has all kinds of delights awaiting us if we only look...terrific.
