Description

More of my once hidden and/or neglected fun and imaginative period of Bryce and Poser work from 2002 through 2006, now on display. I have no record of where I obtained the Space Station and accompanying spacecraft models, but the background of our earth is actually a NASA photograph, captured from possibly an orbiting Space Shuttle. I added the star background for effect. Have a nice day.

Well I guess this must be Marilyn's first glimpse of your 3D/Mixed Media stuff, if she's just discovering this side to your work. I hope she sees more. And with Denise, you've married all the elements beautifully. Again, I know zip about this kind of work, I don't know anything about combining objects and backgrounds, and making them 'gel': I can simply appreciate them as finished images. I do sense how the ship really does feel suspended in space---something I assume takes time to set up and finesse---and the light below the ship, on earth, is a fine contrast to the dark shadows on the ship's underside; and the pink is fine contrast to all that blue and gray. And the sky is in good proportion, being 1/3 of the piece. And you've shadowed the whole bottom of the shot, as the earth curves out of the light...All very sensitively done. Fine multi media piece again, Harry.
