Description
...inside the heart.
(Photoshop.)
It was an intense couple of months in this blessed place (dedis, comments, series, some actual writing), and I'm not even caught up with all of you!
I'll catch up, I promise.
But right now I have stuff to finish at home, personal matters, etc. I'll be back in a few days.
In the meantime, a wonderful New Year to you all
and endless inspiration by your side.
Thanks for your wonderful support this year
it's been a blessing.
A sweet New Year to you all
Mark
(another big one...please zoom, otherwise it's just another purple painting, lol...)

At first glance, I saw colorful purple curtains as seen through some sort of kaleidoscopic prism (or perhaps a drunken haze of doubled vision). I didn't notice the circle which seems to reflect & refract the patterns & colors until I looked more carefully. A very fine & exuberant abstract fantasy, Mark & my very best wishes for a wonderful year ahead to you...

Mark, you did an outstanding job on this cool and creative image of celebration. The New Year wouldn't feel right without a visit to your gallery and I'm so glad you took time to share this with us before you take a break. Have a happy and blessed New Year.

OMG, shades of the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, but this one of yours is with an impenetrable layered forest of extremely sharp stalactites and stalagmites, of all shapes, striations, colors, and patterns. Another one of your wonderful, inexhaustible renditions on display. And, sorry, Mark, I would add more to this comment, but I am still engulfed in a torrent of late arriving ebots, which has figuratively buried me in an abyss of comment replies. In fact, at the moment, my mind is on the cusp of closing down for a recharge. AOL willing, I'll see you when you get back from your short sabbatical.

One more unforeseen of gorgeous colors, shapes and light. A forest? A garden of an unknown world? Through that almost invisible lens everything became much more brilliant and i have a tridimensional view. This lens seems is doing a boundary and showing places, where only some can go... and behind this lighted curtain, i see in the distance, to the left, just a bit of a purple lake. It is an impressive abstraction and a visionary challenging to our eyes,Mark !! And very beautiful. I wish you a blessed and wonderful year ahead to you with everything of the best !

OH WOW! This blew me away. I also see this in silk fabrik. Love the colors and the little shapes and I love the circle in it which I first saw when I opened in full size :-) Good luck finishing the stuff at home :-)

I'm in the fabric crowd, I guess; stunning fabric woven of liquified jewels, magnified through a diamond lens...amazingly lovely gift to begin the new year, Mark. Best wishes to you!

Fabric. Absolutely. You could design silks for the top couture houses in Europe. This is fabulous!!
