Description

By Emanuel Ungaro. A scent created in 1983, so a strong big-shouldered sort of whiff. I must have liked it, I used up the whole bottle. It is only available in the bottle shaped like the mini now. See it without the digifidde Here

That is stylish packaging (Big one), it probably eats into profits these days to make them! Great shot!

I remember this stuff, it was nice, when a girl in front of you was wearing it, it was pleasant and not overpowering, these days, they bath in scent.

I love the bottle design. It has a very strong 80s vibe! Angular, diagonal, with loads of glam.

Elegant design that gives the impression of someone wearing a robe and headdress. The little one has just a shawl around the shoulders. I like this version better.

The flickr version is more classic, more presentational. And, like all your bottle shots, it's very well done. This version, with the filtering, is more electrified, where the fan of the cap and the swirls of the bottle are more accentuated, more abstract and more about energy. The compo is different, with a 'parent-child' configuration, and you balance the piece by putting the pair more to the left, and giving that big looming shadow on the right. Love the shadow work. And love the high-wire electricity of it all, and the grainy wet-street-reflection of the table and right-side wall. The bright side of the wall is the yin-yang of the piece. (You know, I HATE that term, and I'm deeply sorry I used it! The balance? Is that better?) Ie, the right side of the wall is the burst of light to balance the darker side...Another so-thoughtful bottle shot from you. I get the feeling that, even if you hate the scents of some of your perfumes---inevitable I'm sure---you love the speech of the bottles. You just keep exploring them, turning them in and out, finding what's 'inside' them in a metaphorical way. This series is a perpetual exploration of the inner language of bottles. An old Jewish writing---the Pirke Avot---said, "turn it (the Torah) over and over, for everything is in it, look into it, grow old over it, and never move away from it: For you will find no better inspiration than it..." That's what I think of everytime I view your bottles. Another wonderful entry into this terrific series.
