Description
Captured 12/30/14, early am, on my way home from the 99+ cent store.
Being winter, I wasn't surprised to see that this was the only rose on the bushes. But I was surprised to see one in such fine fettle.
Adieu.

I didn't mean to miss another few days, but life just gets in the way certain months. But as always, I've seen everything, and it's a pleasure to finally comment after viewing prior. I'm picking up where I left off in an attempt to go chronologically. But if I get too far behind, I'll skip back and forth just so you know I've been looking. But more chronological commenting right now. And so to this beautiful pic... Another beautiful rose capture, this one in profile, and on an angle, and with straight-up branches to either side making this a very 'ceremonious' rose. It has one ear up, like a dog listening intently, and it's a beauty. Beautiful highlights across the petal edges, and that fragile furling texture. But the background, with the tall branches and almost flat greens behind them, makes a very formal shot, like it had posed for you: Beautiful. As always, you capture the delicate silk-like curve and fragility of the rose, mixed with its genuine sensuality. And such a delicate hue too. A beautiful shot, and wholly worthy of this magisterial series.
