Description
As its number testifies, the F-104 was an early design, but one that was built for pure speed and used technology that was both inspired and daring. Troubled throughout its developement, a later version actually competed against the F-15 for air-superiority fighter. The USAF texture was painted for neiwil's F-104. Since the red stripe crosses two different materials and maps, I used Booleans to solve the problem in Bryce. Poser 6/Bryce 6

Beautiful render of a very elegant design. The F-104, "the missile with a man in it" always seemed ahead of its time. There is one up here at the Estrella Warbird Museum, and every time I look at it, I still marvel at how they flew on those thin stubby little wings! Very nice job.

A fine group shot of my favorite aircraft of all time. Kelly Johnson and the skunk works did a hell of a job with this little puppy!!! You did a really nice job on the "skins", too! I am sure Neil will enjoy the post.
